Vehicle Theft Attempts and Theft From Car BE AWARE
Hello. Just a quick update regarding some recent vehicle crime in the area.
A Nissan Juke in blue was taken from Westminster Drive (crime number 21*254241) on 09/05/21 around 0200 – 0300. Around the same time a purse was taken from a vehicle on Robinson Way (crime number 21*253899).
We are completing investigations into these incidents so please get in touch if you have any information around suspicious vehicles/persons in the area of Robinson Way or the Canberra Way/Wyvern Close estate on 09/05/2021 between 01:45 and 03:15.

Please be aware of a couple of vehicle crime incidents in Hinckley, late night on 08/05/2021. A Ford Zetec S was stolen and there was an attempt on a Ford Edge Titanium, keyless device used.
Please stay vigilant. Always ensure you have locked your doors/windows, checked your vehicle is locked, No items of value left in your vehicle and consider security items such as keyless car wallets, steering locks and driveway bollards.

Scams, helpful information from Burbage resident regarding repeat calls.
“It may be worth letting residents know that call blocking equipment is available if they are receiving a number of calls.
I have a Truecall unit that works brilliantly & has stopped all scam calls. The phone does not even ring unless it’s a wanted caller.
You can adjust all the settings via your P.C.
I believe it’s one of the more expensive ones available but it is regarded as the most effective.”
