Police Newsletter and Please have your say

Hello,

Please see attached this months Burbage Police newsletter. If you have any issues opening the newsletter then get in touch and I will send it to you directly.

Just a reminder that we will be at “welcome back Burbage” in Pughe’s Paddock this Saturday (7th August 09:30 – 14:00). We will have lots of information and products (sold at cost) around crime prevention. Pop down and say hello if you can make it and hopefully the rain keeps off.

Could you please do us a massive favour and take a couple of minutes to complete the below survey. This will really help us understand your concerns and views.

We are currently working on some new surveys to enable us to target what matters to our residents. We are currently working on in-depth surveys for Road Safety, Hate Crimes and Anti-Social Behaviour. Could you please take 2 minutes to fill in the below link (copy and paste into your browser). We will be rolling out the additional surveys soon. You can share the link with anyone, even if they do not want to be part of Neighbourhood Link. If the link is not working then drop me an Email to darren.stretton@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk

Hate crimes and Hate incidents happen when a person is targeted because they are, or are believed to be, a member of an alternative sub-culture community, because they are disabled or because of their race, religion, sexual orientation or because they are, or are believed to be, transgender.

Hate incidents and crimes do not just have an impact on the victim but they also affect their family, friends and the wider community as a whole.

By answering the following questions you will help Leicestershire Police better understand the effectiveness of our current approach to raising awareness, the impact hate crime has on our communities, the barriers to reporting, and what changes we, and our Partners, need to make to improve confidence and routes to reporting.

Thank you very much and Take care
