Theft of vehicle registration plates from a Land Rover Range Rover at Sketchley Grange Hotel on Tuesday 16th November. I still have a quantity of Free Anti-theft screws if you would like any. (click REPLY or drop me an Email)

A resident has been in contact regarding possible rogue traders around Sketchley Road trying to complete “roof work”. Please keep a look out for any elderly neighbours or family that may be pressured or scammed into agreeing to work and paying cash for jobs that do not need doing (or being charged over the top). These people may try and pressurise you into paying cash and agreeing to work at the door. Utilise door chains, don’t answer if you don’t know who it is and call the Police if you feel threatened. Take a look at this link for ideas as to how you can help yourself or others. https://www.ageuk.org.uk/information-advice/money-legal/scams-fraud/doorstep-scams/

Please remember to call 101 or 999 immediately if you see a crime in progress. Try to obtain vehicle registration plate details if possible. Never put yourself in danger.

We re-united the found key (Maserati) from our last post with its owner thanks to our Neighbourhood Link appeal. One very happy owner wanted to say a massive thank you to the person that found the key and contacted us.
