Geoff Bailey, former Head of Art at Dixie Grammar School, Market Bosworth, is celebrating his recent retirement from teaching with a solo exhibition exploring three themes.

‘Origins’ has its basis in Darwin’s theory the Origin of Species looking at the evolution of mankind. ‘Ghosts’ captures the decline of the industries that once dominated this area. ‘Shadows’ explores the use of light and dark throughout art history and recreating it in a contemporary setting.

Alongside the artists, Atkins Building is also pleased to welcome our new café business the Hansom Café. The team at Hansom Café joined Atkins Building in November 2020 and are ready to serve Atkins Gallery visitors. The café has ample indoor seating and outdoor seating on the raised wooden deck in the rear courtyard at Atkins Building.
