Commonwealth Games 1 Yr to Go Podcast

Good morning all, I hope you’re well.

With the Olympics taking place & Team GB currently sitting 6th in the medal table, it’s amazing to think that this time next year we’ll be enjoying the Commonwealth Games arriving in our region!

The latest force podcast is all about the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games as we celebrate ‘a year to go’

In the podcast, we have a chat with the Chief about his time in charge of the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002, and how that experience influenced his decision to extend his contract with WMP so he could be part of things next year.

We also speak to Georgia Davis, one of our new recruits who also plays cricket for one of the country’s top clubs.

Finally we speak to Chief Superintendent Dave Sturman and Superintendent Nick Rowe to get an update on how our planning for the Games is going.

Where can I listen?
You can listen to the podcast on all the main podcast platforms or download it directly.

It will also be featured on the WMP Commonwealth Games website Home – Birmingham 2022 (west-midlands.police.uk)

We hope you enjoy it.

Kind regards

Jim
