South Leicester Police – Halloween and Bonfire Night (Leicestershire Police)

Dear South Leicester Resident,

You are receiving this email as you live on the area covered by the South Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA).

Halloween and Bonfire night are just around the corner and it is one of our busiest times of the year. Local officers will be out on patrol and responding to incidents in your local area.

Typically, Leicestershire Police sees a surge of calls around Halloween – which can see over 600 emergency calls and 1,500 non-emergency calls in a 24-hour period.

Please only call 999 in an emergency.

Please call 101 to report non-emergency incidents. You can now also report online at: www.leics.police.uk and choose the ‘Report’ button on our home page.

We also have a poster available for you to download and print, that you can place in your window to inform people if you are taking part in Halloween celebrations or not. You can find the poster at the following link: https://leics-fire.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/no-trick-or-treaters.pdf

Please do share the above link with anyone that you feel may benefit from it.

Kind regards,
