The last concert in a series of popular outdoor live music performances wowed music lovers on Saturday afternoon (11 September) when 4th Avenue took to the bandstand in Hinckley’s Argents Mead.

The successful local male vocal harmony group performed iconic songs from a variety of genres at Music in the Mead, a free entry event that is organised by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council on Saturdays throughout the summer months.

Other performances throughout the summer have included, the Misterons, Sam Southall, The Sounds of Swing – Dean Thomas, Steven Faulkner, Out of Gas, and the Supersonic 90s.

Executive Member for Culture, Leisure and Tourism at the Borough Council, Councillor Keith Nichols said:

A huge thank you to all performers who have entertained us this summer, to the council’s events team and a special thanks to the events assistants for their work in helping to keep the events safe for everyone. I’d especially like to thank everyone who came along to support these events this year. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
