Burbage Rogue Traders Traffic Accidents And Arrests (Leicestershire Police)

Hello,

We hope you are keeping well.

Please be mindful of rogue traders in the area. If anyone cold calls, never give them cash or agree to work on the spot. We have had an incident this week in the Boyslade Road area where there has been a report of a resident being scammed out of money. We are working to try and identify those involved and to safeguard the victim involved.

Please keep a look out for friends, family and neighbours. It is normally the elderly or vulnerable that get targeted by these types of criminals. Please call 101 or 999 immediately if you have any concerns. Details such as vehicle registration details are critical in helping us locate suspects. As a general security measure, please try and limit how much cash you keep in your property as this limits the damage that can be done if you were to be scammed or burgled. Please see Action Fraud for further support https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
