Burbage Police ongoing Vehicle Crime and Patrols (Leicestershire Police)

Hello,

CCTV found of a suspicious male at the location of Sketchley Road on 12th December at around 00:10. It is possibly vehicle related. Please check your CCTV or doorbell camera for a suspicious male and possibly a vehicle in the area.

As you will be aware, vehicle crime has picked up over recent months so please get a steering lock, car key wallets (keyless vehicles) driveway bollards, anti-theft VRM screws or anything else that may make it harder for criminals.

We are seeking information (ideally the registration) for a vehicle of interest driving at speed along Hinckley Road, Woodland Avenue and Salisbury Road at around 15:28 on Sunday 12th December. Late night patrols around Burbage speaking with local residents around concerns and crime prevention.

Vehicle registration plate stolen from the Banky Meadow area on 13th December from an Audi.

Theft of a Fiat Doblo van from Featherston Drive on 12th December between 21:14 – 21:40. Unknown how entrance was gained. We are conducting investigations but please get in touch if you have any information.

Grove Road and Hinckley Road included in targeted patrols. Other locations such as Banky Meadow, Sketchley Road, Sapcote Road, Brookside and Salisbury Road visited. 

We have been completing late night patrols in the area and speaking to local residents in response to recent crime. Please remember to call 101 or 999 immediately if you see any suspicious activity.
